This is the whole idea. Count what you hold, and it stays counted.

Every note counted, in any currency you carry. Works fully offline, with no account and nothing shared. Free, with one optional one-time Pro unlock.

No account.

No cloud.

No ads. No tracking.

Just your cash, kept.

A number you can trust.

Your cash on hand, live. The home screen is one honest figure: the cash physically in your pocket, counted by you. Log what you collect and spend, and the total, the monthly trend and your recent activity stay in step with your wallet.

More ways to keep it together.

Earn it. Collect it. Log hourly shifts or one-off gigs, see what each week should pay, and confirm the exact notes when you are paid, even in parts.

Badges you actually earn. Quiet milestones for real habits: your first collection, a second currency, fifty entries, a saved backup. Presented like medals, then out of your way.

Your month in plain numbers. Collected, spent and moved to the bank, plus the cash in your hand at the end of any month. Every entry editable, with undo.

A wallet per currency. Each currency keeps its own notes and totals. Nothing is converted, nothing is guessed, and switching takes one tap.

Locked and private. A PIN and biometric lock guard the app. There is no account behind it and no server to breach, because nothing is ever uploaded.

Backups you control. Save a backup file whenever you like and restore it in one tap. Move phones without losing a note. Your data stays entirely in your hands.

Made for people who live partly in cash.

Banks track what is in the bank. Kept is for everything that is not.

People who keep cash at home

A lot of us hold real cash, not just numbers in a bank app. Kept is a private place to record what you have and where it came from.

The notebook keepers

Our parents’ generation tracked cash in a paper ledger: how much, when, and how they got it. Kept is that notebook, except it adds itself up and never gets lost.

Working travelers

Moving place to place on daily wages to see the world. Log shifts and gigs, and mark pay collected when the notes are in your hand, in whatever currency you earn.

Cash across borders

Carrying physical cash into a new country, often in more than one currency. Keep a clear count of exactly what you hold, wallet by wallet.

Kept, in your browser.

Kept for Web

The same private cash tracker, running in your browser. For iPhone users, desktops, and anyone who wants Kept without an install. Now in beta.

  • Same privacy rules: your data lives in your browser, not on a server
  • Add it to your home screen and it works like an app
  • Browser storage only, so save a backup file now and then

Questions, answered.

How do I get Kept right now?

Kept is in a closed beta on Android through Google Play. Join the beta and we will add you to the tester list; you will then get the app and every update straight from the Play Store. A public release follows the beta. Prefer no install? Kept for Web runs right in your browser.

Does Kept need an internet connection?

No. Kept works fully offline. There is no server, no syncing and no login, so it works just as well on a plane or in a remote town as it does at home.

Where is my data stored?

Only on your device, in the app’s private storage. Your entries never leave your phone and are never sent to us or anyone else. You can save a backup file whenever you like and keep it wherever you want.

Is there an iPhone or web version?

Yes. Kept for Web is live in beta: the same tracker running in your browser, with your data stored locally in the browser. On iPhone, open it in Safari and use Share, then Add to Home Screen, and it works like an app. Android stays the native app. One note: browser storage is erased if you clear browsing data, so save a backup file from Settings now and then.

Which currencies can I track?

As many as you carry. Each currency is its own wallet with its own denominations and totals. Kept keeps them separate and never converts between them.

Is it really free?

Yes. Kept is free to use, with one optional one-time Pro unlock for unlimited currency wallets, paid through Google Play. No subscriptions, no ads, ever.

What happens if I lose my phone?

Because nothing is stored in the cloud, your data lives with your phone. Use the backup feature to save a file you control, then restore it on a new device in one tap.
